My first attempt at an @openmiddle #Desmos activity! I put together a few tasks for multiplying and dividing decimals. Thanks @MrJohnRowe for your CL help! #MatchMyCL
- OpenMiddle: Multiplying and Dividing Decimals
Ryan de la Garza (@DLGEdTech)
Been a while since I dove into a #MatchMyCL challenge! The template was a great jump-off point for this one. Although I wish I could've figured out how to make the boxes & cards move for the check I think the effect is still there with this percent model!
- Open Middle #MatchMyCL
Katie Bookbinder (@kbook10)
Here is my @Desmos October #matchmycl activity! Create trig functions and identify key characteristics, Open Middle style.
- MatchMyCL: Trig Function Open Middle
Rob Cartwright (@MrRCartwright)
Open Middle challenges are so fun to make on @desmos! Here's my #MatchMyCL using a graph and sketch to make a non-linear positive correlation.
- Quadratics (Open Middle)
Rob Cartwright (@MrRCartwright)
Here's another @openmiddle #MatchMyCL @Desmos I made this activity last year, but just updated a few screens.
- The Integer Challenge

#MatchMyCL Love #openmiddle I was first introduced to the model by the Lane County series. I have quite a few that I have made over time with some in desmos. I desmosfied this one a few weeks ago and updated today with the blue cards.
- Open Middle Proportions
Kurt Salisbury (@kurt_salisbury)
Here's my screen. I made this @openmiddle type interaction a few months ago. #MatchMyCL
- Reach 100 #MatchMyCL

I used a friend’s template to make this collection of 5 problems each for grades 3-8. Collection: https://teacher.desmos.com/collection/5e8f6af71e349d6f8020eaff
Jeff Holcomb (@sinpiover2)
Check out this @Desmos activity: 6-1.1C Area Puzzles! Maybe long for a #MatchMyCL but some fun stuff with the shoelace formula and coding to check shapes. Using it with students tomorrow!

Jeff Holcomb (@sinpiover2)
Check out this @Desmos activity: Open Middle Problems! Had these made-- could use some work. #MatchMyCL

An Open Middle Activity on Quadratics for October's Desmos #MatchMyCL and 2 bonus screens based on @mrbartonmaths Diagnostic Questions
- #matchmyCL Open Middle
Javier Cabezas (@CabezasMath)
#MatchMyCL Products with Algebra Tiles. Lots of ways to be right here! My aim is for learners to recognize that the coefficients of the x-terms multiply to create x^2 pieces and the constants multiply to create the constant pieces in the product
- October #MatchMyCL - products with algebra tiles
Sarah Furman (@SPFurman17)
Two faves: @Desmos and @openmiddle , but I am drowning in CL......here's my attempt at #MatchMyCL ....have no idea how to complete the check my work screen, but did find sweet bliss getting the commas right.
- Match my CL attempt
Satvinder Singh (@Satvind99716093)
First attempt for @Desmos Oct Month. Trigonometry values sum or product puzzle and Double Angle identity from @RESOLF #iteachmath #MtBos #Trigonometry
- Sum-Product Puzzle: Trigonometry values and Identity
Kimberly Dicus (@coachkdicus)
I’ve been doing this (no CL! I need time to learn!!) by uploading an image to a sketch screen! it’s so basic but it’s been my fav way to do this remote so far!!
- Open Middle September Week 3
Jeffrey Mashbitz (@mashmatics)
Here's my @openmiddle... Anyone willing to help make this self-checking!?
- Open Middle: Equations with Variables on Both Sides
Kurt Salisbury (in reply to Jeffrey Mashbitz)
I added some self-checking to the first screen. I worry about adding too much self-checking as to limit student thinking or promote guessing on @openmiddle so I added a few follow up questions to that slide.
