Fluency Practice

Daily digital flashcards for fact fluency using spaced repetition. This collection of mCLASS Math and Boost Math activities is for exclusive demo and sampling purposes and should not be openly distributed.

• Introduction

  Fluency Practice uses the scientifically proven theory of spaced repetition to help students learn math facts. Every flashcard contains meaningful visualizations to help students make sense of the problem. The visualizations use Polypad virtual manipulatives and students can interact with the manipulatives on many of the cards as a helpful scaffold to learning the given fact. Based on where each student is in learning their facts, the program automatically selects the personalized group of cards for each student for each day. Fluency Practice has a separate Teacher Dashboard apart from the teacher tools in Desmos Classroom. On the Fluency Practice dashboard, teachers are able to assign any of the flashcard sets to students and view student progress. Read Getting Started with Fluency Practice to learn more. The activities listed below provide an overview of the various flashcard sets available at fluency.amplify.com. These activities cannot be assigned to students within Desmos Classroom. All assignment options and teacher tools take place within the Fluency Practice platform.
