Sub-Unit 2: Measuring Data: Mean and MAD
Students are introduced to the mean of a data set and make sense of it as a measure of center. They also calculate the mean absolute deviation (MAD) of a data set and make sense of it as a measure of spread. They then use these statistics to describe and compare real-world data.
